Yer I know it's early, but i've just done some xmas shopping on Amazon because I got some vouchers and it'd my daughter's birthday on the 20th so I have to plan ahead a little.

All my shopping is done by End of November. And cards sent by the begining of December. That way I still have time if I have forgotten someone.

I'm Craig...aka csc2ya (aka Vista on the vbirc chat network). I'm 25, from the UK. My main interests are computers, and modified cars.

I run my own site that started out as a computer support site, but became a personal site in the end, with the forums used for pc support. I won't link it though....don't want to seem like a spam bot.

I also help run one irc server, and own another server. Again, I won't link those, for the same reason as above.

My current job is as a checkout operator for Tesco (A well known food store in the UK).

To be honest, i've never been much good at introductions, so i'll stop here...I just figured that since i'm on the irc network all the time, I may as well register on here as well.

This was popular on my old site.. could depend on the crowd I guess.

Anyway, basic premise is to go out (omg!) and take a picture, pictures, or video of where you live, of course use common sense (Ie, dont take pictures of your house or anything people (who you dont wanna be bothered by) can use to track you..).

Could be a photo montage, can be a video with music background or narration, can be a slideshow of pictures.. etc..

Seemed to be pretty popular back on my old site.. Lets see how it does here, we all had fun finding out about each others neighborhoods etc.

Hi people. As you can see, I'm not new at all. Yet I am posting my first post *here* in this thread.

I probably know like 2% of you guys already. I was formerly a member of TRF in its peek... Not that I was a peek member, however. xD

I don't post in forums much anymore but I'd gotten a few emails from a mysterious site called WTN... So I decided I missed the thrilling experience of creating "I'm new here" threads and decided to come on over and say hi.

So, hey guys! I go by Twin (Or Thetwinmeister) and I love sarcasm, except for the times I don't love it. My hobbies include designing and building surround sound systems and computers, not in that order. My current and greatest work is a project I'm doing with my cousin. We're working on designing and building a totally 100% custom liquid submerged computer. (Read: Not liquid cooled, "liquid submerged") Before the ever-so-kind people who know the first thing about blow driers tell me that its bad to put computer parts in water--I'll say this now--don't worry about a thing. I got it covered.

Oh yeah, my cousin and I are also working on plans for building a custom tricked-out car from the ground up. Might as well throw that in. xD

Other than electronics, I'm also fairly big into anime. You can view my anime list here, if any of you happen to be interested.

Lets see... Other than that, I love swords and girls and thats about it I suppose. x3

I look forward to any jabs of humor any of you might try to inflict. For the rest of you, nice to meet you.

WTN News: Some Old and New Sites

We've expanded the wetalk.network once more to bring you two excellent startup communities! The new communities are wetalkcelebs.net and wetalkauto.net and are just waiting for you to come and recommend a forum structure and post new topics!

Another community, wetalkanime.net has been discontinued. Well, the URL that is. There wasn't enough activity or staff to run it, so we've moved the content (threads, posts) to the offtopic forum. To which wetalkanime.net now points as an alias.

Participation does have its rewards: additional Private Message Quota, Custom Avatars and Special Usergroups. Don't be shy, members want to hear what you have to say. And it's a great way to make new friends.

We've updated our WTN Premium Membership this month. Each Premium Account is now unlimited, instead of the previous pay per year. We have updated every current premium member to reflect this, to no additional cost to you. Summer 2010, what are you doing in your vacation?

I have no money this year to go on vacation, and too much work to do on the web sites to relax. So I am staying home, with my laptop on the balcony, enjoying the nice weather and long summer nights. Making my own ice tea and iced coffees, and chatting with my friends.

Considering spending a day in the park in Amsterdam, while talking to you guys on the forums :)

Right, I'm going through a rough spot atm.... so I've started spending hours setting up AFX tracks with some crazy ass design ideas :) It's so much fun trying to design something with a set amount of pieces that the cars can physically get around... even if it will be abit of a challenge to do so.

I tweeted about the track I made the other day, and I've just spent the good part of 3 hours thinking up and putting together another one. I run out of pieces very quickly when I start with the crazy ideas, I'm having to use then as supports to stop it falling over

If you don't know what AFX is, it's an old toy from the 90s, similar idea to the scalextric of the day, except on a smaller scale and the cars had magnets on the base enabling them to climb vertically and go around loops. If you don't know what scalextric is, then I feel sorry for you ;)
