Do you believe in cryptocurrencies? Bitcoin, Dogecoin, DubaiCoin, Ethereum...

Being an investor, the one thing I do not understand even now is the valuation of these cryptocurrencies and what is the backing them. I understand the technology behind the cryptos and its utility, but I am unable to see this as an instrument for investing.

What is your opinion?

Sure. I want to believe in them and learn more about them. I'm not super smart when it comes to this type of stuff, but I'm willing to learn for sure. I think cryptocurrency is our future, it just makes sense. Of course the USD or other currencies will do just fine, crypto is just going to be an added bonus on top of it all, at least for me.

I believe that there's room in this world for an alternative method of paying. I see no difference between me handing you a hand of dirt for a worm, or a bit of paper saying 'this is worth $5' for a service provided. Or for a unique digital signature to equal a promise.
