Do you exercise on a daily basis? If yes what form of exercise regime do you follow?

I am not a gym person but I have my own exercise regime. I practice yoga to strengthen my body and calm my mind. I spend an average of 30 to 45 minutes everyday for exercising. I have this exercise cycle, working on which has benefited me a lot. It prevents me from putting on any extra flab around my abdomen. My varicose veins in my calf have almost gone away.

How many of you are into walking on a daily basis ?

I got a Fitbit, does that count?? I do try to hit the 10,000 steps but yeah exercise isn't something I do enough of. I've just got an indoor climber machine, which I try to do a few minutes on each day.

While the current scenario warrants compulsory exercise and even doctors suggest regular exercise, I have not taken the suggestion and advise very seriously. Physical exercise to me is limited to walking that too only when necessary. On the other hand I do follow strict diet control and avoid fast foods and aerated drinks and follow strict regimen regarding my food. That to some extent offsets my lack of exercise and keeps me fit.

I walk for about 30 minutes everyday, do stretches and lower back ligament strengthening exercises. This way I try to keep myself fit. I follow a low fat regimen and I have been able to ward off diabetes though I have a family history of diabetes.

I workout for about an hour a day. I don't think we really need more than that. I will sometimes have a cheat day, or skip a day of working out completely, but for the most part, I like to get at least an hour in a day if I can.

I hardly do, and I am terrible for this. I should! And I know I should. I'd love to do some meditation. And Covid lockdowns has ruined my routine for daily 15m walks and 30m bike rides.

I have an Apple Watch and I try to stand 12x times per day extra, I try to use the breathe app 6x per day to fight stress. And I use it to track biking and walking. But I don't go out of my way anymore. Time to make the most of the Summer I guess

I can't wait to wake up early before everybody goes to work and the Sun just about to come up. And then go for a walk right after waking up, or a bike ride. Then come home and have a shower, do a few things in the apartment for an hour and then sit down and wait for lunch time before I eat for the first time that day.

My lower back and knees need to get better. So walking is certainly something I have to pick up again. Even 5 minute walks "on purpose" each time more than you usually do will help. So I have to get going!

I wish I knew what threadmill to buy for my body type and weight. But the ones I find are expensive. I am a tall person. I am now overweight, and most cheap runners are up to 80kg haha. But anyway, I'd love to have one just to train at home while I read or listen to a podcast. (and i have my reasons why at home and not at a gym for example, but I rather not go into that)

I try to workout on a daily basis, but work can sometimes stop my routine in its tracks. But, most days I get a nice workout in, maybe a run or quick jog. I need to get back to working out more often though. I've been slacking as of late.

I have some back/neck issues making it hard to stick to an actual exercise that doesn't cause pain. The most I can do is walk, swim, and do some rebounding (jumping on a mini-trampoline) so I just stick to those things. I don't do these daily but I try to make a point to do some form of exercise at least every other day.

Each morning I go to the balcony and there's a rail that I can lean against. I stretch the muscles in my legs and arms there by doing the easy pushups against the rail. Regular speed 25x, and slow 10x, then stretch back there.

Covid changed this with lockdowns and curfews, but I try to be on my bike daily and then an extra 5km ride every other day in the evening or morning hours.

During the summer I try to walk instead of using bike.

It's all very basic, but when I dont' do it, I get more aches in my body and quicker. So I guess it helps.

I've been going to the balcony every morning and doing a few things there to help my hurt shoulder and arm. It seems to be working. Well, I hope it is. We will find out long term I guess
