Finally got my loom knitting out again last night, however I can't find the hook for it so used a crochet hook and I'm not sure if it's going to work
I've actually picked up playing guitar a bit more this summer. And noticed I've slowly improved on certain techniques.
I hope to try out some online lessons again to finetune that and make more lightbulbs go 'Ooooh' in my head

Picked up a book today on making bags with fat quarters, I do own a sewing machine and have quite a few fat quarters, so maybe I can give that a go.

I got a diamond painting kit for Christmas, so I guess that's my new hobby

I've picked up a bullet journal in the sale, aiming to do that next year, and I've ordered more washi tape from etsy, which I didn't really need, but you can never have enough craft supplies

My new hobby seems to be fixing the lego Assisi breaks.

I have started to learn how to crochet, at the moment it looks like a wonky worm, it might turn into a wonky worn bookmark, we'll see how I go!

Nope... not been in a great place mentally but I am working on it.
That's totally okay, we do what we can when we can. You're gonna find the free time in your mind to feel motivated to tackle something new. It's something fun to look forward to.

Somehow I've agreed to do a temperature blanket during 2023. Why???

Thankfully I did not do this.

I did however start a reading challenge, well half a challenge, it's a 52 book prompt but I'm only aiming for 26 and I'm currently on track to reach 26 books by the end of the year.

I joined another craft group recently, so now I go to one on a Tuesday evening and one twice a month on a Wednesday. It helps me to focus on craft projects instead of doing them at home.

I have taken the first few steps towards finding things to do offline that I can put time into. I am not sure yet what direction to go, but I am trying to do some research and get a feel for things. Maybe pick one of them as a hobby going forward. So I have more me time, and enjoy it.

Another step has been taken to have a hobby, old and new projects are being worked on and spread over the next five or so years. Today the camera arrived, which should last me a decade (hopefully longer). This will help with photography, as well as some pending projects. I am quite excited about it. More offline time, more moving around, less online time, less online hobbies. That can't be a bad thing. Even if it's just an hour every week.

I recently acquired a fancy camera which I spend about 15 minutes a day learning how to use. It provides me with a great distraction while I familiarize myself with all the buttons and features for photography and video.
