Place looks great! I just started up an old project of mine again as well, unfortunately lost all of it's original data, nothing as way back as this, but it initially started in 2009, unfortunately i also lost the rights to the original domain name but still got the .net! :P Great to see this place still kicking! 17 years is a long time to have a community running!

It's just a domain name. When this was the wetalk network, we had like a dozen of domains just for the main sites, .. I think as long as you can type something in the browser, you're good. In a way I wish I never changed from the original domain. But, it's a journey and that's part of its history.

We had a close call restoring this site, the backup was on a hard drive in a computer that didn't work anymore.
The backup I thought was the latest version was actually corrupt. And while talking to @Mikey I actually came to the realisation that it might be on the old system drive. I took it out of there, connected it over usb, took over the directory permissions and found the backup that was actually the last one, AND it was not corrupt. #phew
