Avocados! Don’t listen when people say, “Avocados will make you fat.” The truth is, they contain healthy fat, and they have the best protein-sugar ratio of all fruit. The important thing is that they keep your blood sugar levels steady. Avocados also have vitamin K and folate in them, which will help you remember those tricky facts and concentrate as you’re reading them. Put some walnuts on the side of that avocado. Walnuts have plenty of vitamins and minerals, as well as antioxidants. These wonderful ingredients will boost your brain activity and keep you on your game.

Beets are also incredible for studying because they boost blood flow and oxygen in your brain. But, yeah, I can't think of a lot of delicious beets examples - I personally probably skip this one hehe.

Drink a lot of water! Water is essential for your brain and your entire body to function properly. If your body doesn’t have enough water, everything else won’t work the way it should, including your memory and ability to focus on your work. If you get tired of water, or just tired in general, grab yourself a cup of peppermint tea. Peppermint tea will perk you up if you’re tired and motivate you to keep going, as it has been associated with reduced anxiety and fatigue, as well as enhanced performance.

Blueberries contain antioxidants which aid your blood flow to your brain, which helps you to think and concentrate as you study. Blueberries are also delicious in smoothies, or on top of oatmeal. Speaking of oatmeal, consider adding some to your pre-exam diet. By keeping your blood sugar levels steady, oatmeal also keeps you from craving those unhealthy study snacks that you really want to eat. If you’re craving something sweet though, eat a few squares of dark chocolate, but not too much. The dark chocolate will release the feel-good chemicals in your brain that’ll keep you motivated to study.

Now you know exactly what to eat to ace that exam!

Don't get me wrong, studying goes beyond just going to school, I am way beyond my school years, but I still read tutorials, use lynda.com, or watch youtube clips to learn new things. I practice what I think I am good at, just to help me actually get good at it. And keep up my craft. We always learn and study, so, shouldn't we always eat healthy and drink the right stuff?

But but but. I don't like walnuts or avocados or peppermint tea. I like blueberries but only in line salads or muffins; not alone. And dark chocolate is the best !!!

One thing that I have done is cashewnuts - I have a box with 5 packets in them, it is the exact size for a snack and what to eat at most per day. Then I have one box a week. So instead of snacking chocolate or muffins or sugary candy, I have a packet of cashewnuts, and not too much. It's nice - and if I have left over, I just add it to my rice dinner or something like that.

Please don't eat muffins while you study! And eat the dark chocolate in moderation. You can have 1 bar cut in 4, and have a chunk every day, rather than the whole bar in one study session.
