I only have a microwave at work! However yes I do usually do a big pasta meal and portion it and then reheat it at work.

At work, and a microwave, not the ideal situation for making a dinner :D

I've not done well with the veggie food, the call of the takeaway was too much. However payday is coming up and I'm going to do a big food shop then and get back to it.

We have replaced a few 'bad foods' with a few 'good foods' and while I am far from perfect, threads like these are a great reminder to think twice about what I eat, order, buy, etc. I can do so much better, but I will certainly enjoy my meals at the same time. Finding the balance and slowly leaning towards the good side of things is interesting. I will get there. When I am 80 probably, but still.

One of the things I have done to make things easier is buy frozen ready chopped onion and garlic

I'm getting back into veggie food, the hard part is eating out or eating over someone elses. My mother is the worst, eating healthy there is just a no go area!

`How do you deal with people around you who might not understand the change? Without causing friction?

I tend to just avoid going over there around meal times and eat before I go there, but I still end up eating junk food usually

I'm thinking of making breakfast burritos, but in need of filling ideas, I'm thinking of doing a mix of veggie and meat ones. Currently thinking, eggs, mushrooms, chicken/veggie sausages, spinach. Any other ideas?

Need to get away from toast and cereal
