do you ever review products you buy?

I suddenly was wondering, do you ever review a product you want to buy?
Do you go online and take the time to browse around various shops, research the product, read reviews, and maybe leave a review? Do you go out of your way to leave a positive or negative review after buying a product?

I actually go out of my way to leave a positive review if there's a great customer sales/support experience as well.

Yes sometimes. I do on eBay... very rarely on Amazon although I should do that more really. Always on Tripadvisor lol.

I just wish we knew which ones were fake, done by the company illegally, or made by bots, etc.
I wish there was a way to have authentic reviews.

I prefer to buy and try the product myself instead of reading about other users opinions or experiences.

True, maybe I do this too now that I think about it. But I also kind of glance at the reviews to see if there's not some overwhelming 1 star page after page of people warning that there's some blatantly wrong with it.

Normally before buying any product online we must read the reviews written by the other people because we don’t want to go with junk and don’t want to spend money on them. I will be happy to write positive review on my purchase of renowned product.

Good point, but it's hard to see sometimes if it's something you as a real person wrote, or someone who got paid some money if they write a positive review. Or some a.i. bot that just auto posts on behalf of the company. I wish Amazon for example would be more rewarding towards people with real accounts and would sanction companies more if they get busted for faking their reviews.

Depends on what it is, if it's jut some cheap item then I don't review but if it's a more expensive one then I try to remember to after a few days, so I've tried out what it is I've bought first.

I don't write reviews but I read reviews and mainly check out the negative reviews. Some people post pics of products that they have received and it definitely can give us a clear picture whether product is same quality as listed. I have fallen for some fake reviews too but then we learn from our mistakes, don't we??

I do give a review after trying out the product for at least a month, mainly on Amazon and other reliable e-commerce sites. My review will normally be a detailed and honest one which I believe could be useful to someone thinking of purchasing the product. Usually I don't buy a product solely based on the review but try to research about the product on various platforms before buying.

I do this as well, I at least see if there's an overwhelming amount of 'i bought a chicken and it delivered a duck and they refused to exchange the product' .. they're usually not fake either haha
