Mi Band 2, was like 20 euro or something. I got it for my mom's birthday. I think my dad stole it - he loves it.

I'm still waiting to be able to justify spending the money on one. But one day I will.... then I might see what life is like off of the sofa LOL

I keep getting tempted to upgrade to the Charge 3 even though I really don't need to!

I've looked at the Charge 3 and people are complaining about it actually being able to charge and also hold its charge so I'm not going to go with the 3 however pretty it is, yet...

I do not need something on my wrist to tell me I walk below average.

I just got a new strap for my Fitbit, the one it came with broke this week, hopefully this one will last and won't stick to me like the rubber one did.

I still do enjoy having it, and it does help my motivation to move, I just went for a walk as I was only on 4000 steps and now I've hit the 10000

o_o 10,000 o_o

I'd be lucky to get 10 :D

I do want one to help motivate me as you say... But I'm worried it will not work and then is a waste of a lot of money! I want one but I guess I'm worried it's just a fad.

I've had mine roughly 18 months now, and I did have a blip where I barely looked at it, but that was more due to my phone being stupid and not syncing it.

You can set it to buzz at you for however many hours or days you choose, mine is set for 11 hours 7pm-6pm 6 days a week, I have Sundays as free days. So at teo to each hour it will buzz if you haven't done 250 steps.

There's challenges you can do, either by yourself or with others, some are ones to hit your goal or some are distance ones, all step based, but you can walk around Yosemite National Park virtually.

For me at least it's been worth it.

You can track food and water on it too, but I haven't used that side of it. The more expensive ones play music and take calls and whatever else, but I've got one of the cheaper ones and that works fine for me.

Mine is a Charge 2, but I would like the new one as it's waterproof.

I'm hitting the 10,000 steps, but it's not easy, might be a little easier if everywhere wasn't flooded, but I wish I could get more steps in at work, but it's only a small building so I am struggling there.

I do find that I need a challenge to get me walking, I had one day where I didn't want to walk, but because I had got ahead on the challenge I could allow myself that and still be on track.

I finished my Milan to Zurich walking challenge, so now it's a walk around Fiji! I find using the Fitbit with other apps works well for me. I use it with Myfitnesspal for food logging, and My Virtual Mission for the walking challenges.
