Gobble gobble!
The /thanksgiving world will be back, and you won't believe it, but the farmer in the nearby town just can't keep this Turkeys locked up. They've escaped to the big blue river and are running around.
It will be your task to catch them. As a community. Try to get all 25!
This year when you catch it, someone else can't. So make sure to be there and have a free inventory because otherwise someone else might beat you to the Turkeys. The more Turkey beacons you find the more Thanksgiving goodies you can be thankful for.
Unlike other years, we now have some rare turkeys, magical turkeys, and lucky turkeys. They all have a different set of goodies that they drop. And unlike last year when you find a turkey it will have a beacon next to it.
If there's a beacon you right click the beacon. You get the goodies from the Turkey right away.
If there's no beacon, there's nothing to right click. Either the event has not started, has already ended, or someone else has already caught this turkey.
Keep an eye on the chat, it will announce ahead of time when the Turkeys have escaped, and it will announce when it's over as well. Oh, and it will let you know how many Turkeys are yet to be caught.
There's more on the 26th in that world, explore, keep your eyes open, and have fun! And for players that have played before, you might notice the world's a little bigger than usually.
By the way, there might be some Turkeys walking around, hiding as chickens. Can you spot them?
And in other news: The mini game Walk the Plank will soon return, for some fun while we wait for the event. You will find it at /warp jacky.
