Although I like old school rap music, I tend to listen to newer rap music more, as I like to live in the present.  The old days are over, after all.

Neither. Regardless of their age, I never cared for rap music or Hip-Hop in general.

I'm with Tricorder. Do the two even differ much? It's still hip-hop.

Google "what's the difference between rap and hip hop" and see what comes up. I just did, and apparently, rap is a part of the Hip-Hop culture, i.e. all rap songs are Hip-Hop, but not everything in Hip-Hop is rap. :)

It's kinda like when Sheldon explained a difference between a Hot Tub and a Jacuzzi to Zack.

    See what I mean? :p

Old school hip-hop and newer hip-hop, for the most part, sounds the same.  But older hip-hop songs remind me of times in my life years ago.

Memories are good, but life goes on.
