Any of you ever used Forumotion? What do you think about it? I think it's pretty nice! Used it to make a couple forums a long time ago [IMG]

That would be a good thing to do. Proxy users usually still get around, somehow.

well the problem for Proxy users is you cant really ban them or track them because they keep bouncing from server to server. thats why most people are usually on that for downloading Warez content. or going on other sites such as "The Onion' Which is the underground internet that the government is harder to track.

It looks like phpBB because it uses it, lol. Also, I've read some threads on the support threads, said plugins would not work.

There's no way to really stop those kind of users...

Mybb has a plugin for no proxy members. I really think if you need to use a proxy to get on a site you dont need to be on because they are the ones to cause hate....

I personally have nothing against proxys because i use them from time to time. Not on a regular basis though. like for downloading torrents and what not but only on a occasionally

My provider i go through has a 4 layer security measure that blocks DDOS attacks. Godaddy also is the same way. basically what happens is when someone sends a virus/ddos attack the server sends it back to them. and it doesnt touch the possible affected site at all.
