Posted on the TOR Forums by Sean Dahlberg,

For thousands of years the Knights of the Jedi Order have been the guardians of peace and justice in The Old Republic. Through disciplined training and meditation, the Jedi Knights achieve perfect union of body and mind, allowing them to meet any situation with focused, fearless attention. Strengthened by the Force, they are able to turn this training into brilliant displays of lightsaber combat inspiring allies and disheartening those who would see the Republic fall.

Access the latest HoloNet entry now to see a full profile of these heroic Jedi Knights, including videos showing them in action! Also, be sure to visit the Media section to get downloadable screenshots, concept art, and wallpapers!

    Force Push, and Lightsaber throwing!

Best of all, a different style of combat animations to the Sith Warriors'!

Force Push seems to be a power that will either have a decreasing amount of cooldown as the Jedi levels, or will lead to higher-tier versions like with KoTOR.

    Saber throw seems interesting...

Does this constitute a hint that lower levels of abilities become improved with use?

Also, does it hint that lowere level use of this power doesn't always return the 'saber to your hand???

That would be pretty funny. Throwing your saber as some enemies, then having to run after it. :p

Sounds pretty damn epic, though. I knew they'd go for levelling these things up, they usually do. I wonder if you'll have to unlock them, or if you can use them pretty much from the start, though.

Yes, I believe so. Especially ones like Force Lightning, Force Push, etc.

Agreed. I really hope you can lvl up force choke - force stasis - force crush. Now, crush was only in KOTOR 2. Which makes its inclusion in TOR dubious at best. BioWare has avoided all things KOTOR 2 till this point. Force Stasis however, was used in Episode III when Obi-Wan and Anakin fought Dooku on Grevious' ship

    ???

    Uh, it was?

The only people in the room were Dooku, Palps, Obi-Wan & Anakin.

Who exactly was the highest tier of Force Stun used on?

Yes Force Stasis was used in Episode III, Dooku used it on Obi-Wan, He lifted him up, then held him there in stasis for a few seconds then through him across the room and brought the stairs down on him. Crush, the highest level was only used in KOTOR 2

Stasis is at 1:16 of the video

Thats the thing that really irks me. I know there may be legal issues but avoiding K2 is just ridiculous IMO, and a stupid move by Bioware to be honest. There are lots of die hard K2 fans out there that may avoid the game due to the fact it has been completely overlooked.

Didn't learn anything really from this reveal, except that it is confirmed. Man, Bioware needs to pick it up. :jedi:

Although all the info is nice, I sort of agree with you on that one.
