    Solar Mass Ejection

    If you saw auroras last night, it was due to the massive solar flare. We are supposed to get hit again today, if you are lucky and in certain northern parts of Europe and North America you will see the Northern Lights.

    Couple of sources with details and some nice pics of the sun as the flare popped it's cork.

    Couldn't see the damn lights last night, too much cloud and also the night before. I reckon I've missed it this time around, damn British weather!
