Hi everyone, I'm writing an essay on case hardening and I'm stuck so I hope someone can help me. It's about an experiment I have to conduct to prove my arguments.
I'm trying to determine the different temperature for melting iron (and other alloys to produce steel), or rather how iron behaves in different temperatures. However, I am not sure how exactly I should measure that temperature. We have different analysing tools for that here but I'm unsure of which is the best choice for my purpose. I've narrowed it down to the calorimeter (this model I believe) or a thermochemical analyzer (this one). So if anyone could help me, I'd be very grateful!!!
