If a court orders you not to bother the person it might be an idea for you to leave them alone. Were this just out of the blue I might sympathise with her, as it is she was intentionally pushing things and got smacked down for it.

Well, glad they got arrested for not following the court-ordered "leave them the hell alone" sanction. Still, though. Assault with a deadly poke? Sounds like an adult film title or something.

Eh, if someone's been harassing you for a while, I'm sure one of those E-pokes are just another attempt for them to annoy you.

Imagine it being a Superpoke, you can mass-send those. Would be a bitch if you got into court because you accidentally sent a "cookie" to her.
Personally, I would have removed her from my Facebook if you don't want her to harass you, though...

Well, respect for the court is pretty important. If you're going to be subject to it, it's probably best to do what it tells you.

I think the punishment is only being mentioned because the law is probably applying a law to internet usage.

However I don't think that means you should be afraid of poking specifically. You are more likely to have problems with things you post on your respective social networking sites as employers tend to look around for them and monitor them occasionally to make sure you are staying in line.
