    What religion if any were your parents when you were born?

    My parents were Catholic but not practicing. Other family had me going to church as a kid but haven't been to church in years except for weddings and funerals.

    That is good that it isn't force on you. Did they teach any of it to you or they just let you learn whatever you wanted?

    I was allowed to learn what I wanted, as my mother is a strong christian and my father is an atheist.

    Quite the combination between your mom and dad. Easier to be well rounded that way.

    I've been learning a lot about Hindu the last couple years and I think it has some pretty good aspects. Last time I took a religion test, Hindu was one of the highest I had in common with including Buddhism. Interesting name BTW, DevilKid.

    Born and raised Catholic, but admittedly not very religious. I attend Mass every week with my family, often to fall half asleep around the Homily.

    It's nice to know people who know about your religion. Do you do it as a subject or just as an interest to learn about different religions?

    Hahah, Thanks, it took a long time to come up with that name :p

    I used to be christian and have been studying different religions since I went away from it 15 years ago. I'm still interested in this subject and have some ideas. I've been trying to see if there is any truth to any of it and so I look for truth where ever I can find it.

    I took that test again just to see. For me most the liberal religions are at the top. :) http://www.beliefnet...liefOMatic.aspx

    I was born a hindu. Being a hindu, I don't really HAVE to do stuff like visiting the temples/certain places or pray at any specific period of time or anything as I'm not really compelled to do any of it. Nothing is forced. I kinda behave like an atheist at times..but am a hindu and believe in being one. XD;

    It is just a general gauge but they have other tests that get more detailed on specific religions. It has been fairly accurate over the years as my beliefs have changed.

    I'm "Christian", I've been Christened and everything, but I never go to church except weddings & funerals.

    I'd say that I'm agnostic. I study Philosophy at A level, so I can understand religion, it's just not for me personally.

    Born into an atheist family. I'm now agnostic. I'm open to many religious and spiritual ideas; I oppose the idea of organised religion.

    Born into Catholicism, however I am now Atheist.

    I do, however, think religion is very important to have so long as you use it to better yourself and not to bring down others.

    born into Hinduism religion. But I follow multiple religions. Here religion doesn't matter nowadays like it did before. Children are free to choose whatever religion they want to follow despite their parent's religion.
