This year's E3 is coming up pretty soon- next week, in fact. SWTOR devs have been pretty quiet lately, leading us to believe there are going to be some major announcements at the convention.

As per the usual presentation for TOR at E3, we will probably get a new cinematic, which always rocks. Perhaps some new in-game footage and random players getting a chance to play the game. But what else? What do you think is in store?

We have no idea, but some hints and froum trends have lead us to halfway expect:

    • Character Creation demos
    • Announcement of an open Beta Test
    • Dev walkthroughs of a War Zone
    • High-level flashpoints
    • Possible pre-ordering or release date (unlikely, but one can still dream, right?)

What do YOU think E3 will have in store for us as far as TOR is concerned?

Hopefully an open beta, that'd be awesome although it's probably unlikely. I reckon they may have a 1 or 2 week long stress test just for server preparations so the whole thing doesn't 'go boom' when everyone logs in and tries to play on release day.

I think they may look to add to the holonet timeline as they haven't done that for some time and have a lengthier video for us.

Well, so far, we do have a new cinematic- Return. Also, Reid confirmed that there will NOT be a release date, or pre-order information given out at E3, but did state BioWare's timetable is still set for the second half of this year.
