Poison becomes less poisonous after expiry, but it takes ages/years before it stops working. Organic Poison has an expiry date but they breakdown into more poisonous substances. Inorganic tend not to breakdown as such, they have expiration dates because they absorb moisture from air changes chemically, so they take a longer time to work makes them harder to use.

I was under the impression that any composition prepared in the laboratory, after expiration date loses its potency and the same might hold true for poison too. But organic poison breaking down into more poisonous substance is news to me. In any case I do not want to experiment on it and I will go by what ever is in the literature.
