Adium Issues

This is a question for those of you who have a Mac and use Adium. I've had issues for a while with Adium, either some people can't see me online, or I can't see them online, and I'm just wondering if someone else has ever had issues and if they what the issue is? :-/ Bascially I just want to know if I'm the only one thats had the problem. it seems to come and go, sometimes we can both see each other online and then some other times we can't :-/

The only person this happens with is believe it or not, Chroder lol.

What is Adium? I plan to purchase a Mac in the next month or two so I'm trying to learn all I can about Mac's in the mean time.

Pidgin / Trillian for Mac OSX, basically.
One program that supports protocols / api of Facebook, MySpace chat, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo! chat, MSN .. etc.

I've been using pidgin for just about ever now, works wonders and keeps all that crappy software each individual service offers off my pc's. Plus it doesn't hurt to be logged into everything with just one click.
