Cannot Start Installation. Help is greatly appreciated

Hello, I installed Xenforo into a xenforo directory in my webroot folder (www). So i assumed when I type in domainname.com/xenforinstall
That it would work, but it returns me in this error.
Not Found

The requested URL /xenforinstall was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

However when I do domainname.com/imgs (which is another folder in the webroot) it will come up with a listing of all the files

Any guidance as to how I can install Xenforo will be greatly appreciated

P.S. I have already set the file permissions of data and data-internal to 777.

The files are inside /upload/ I don't know the path or how you've uploaded it.

If you put the xenfor dir inside www/ but the img dir works, I can only assume you perhaps didn't put the inside of upload/* online, but xenforupload/, so try example.com/xenforupload/install/ perhaps?

If your forum is at www.dodgeboardswebsite.com/forum you have to put it in the forum folder.
If your forum is at www.dodgeboardsforum.com you have to put it in the public_html folder.

Don't upload the folder called 'uploads' itself.

yep. I suspected the OP may have put the files in a folder outside the public_html folder.
