Conventions

Ok so I know Joan has been to many conventions! But, who else here has and what was it or they about?

@Joan How many have you been to and what have they all been about?

Personally I've been to one and that was about Vampire Diaries & The Originals... It was so much fun even if there were hours of waiting in line. It was worth it. The Con Bubble was amazing, just to forget real life for a bit. Oh and meeting Ian Somerhalder - omg *faints*

My conventions have been more like conferences. For techy stuff. Web things. And iOS apps. blah blah. GEEK SHIT.

i haven't been to the summer glau fantasy dress up convention or anything like that. Those pictures were photoshopped.

Umm well I started in 03 with an Angel con, since then I've done other Buffy/Angel ones, 2 Leverage cons, A Vampire Diaries, 3 Supernatural cons, A Superhero con and a couple of comic cons, it's somewhere in the mid to high teens!

This year I just have another supernatural one planned, however I'm tempted by a couple of others, might go to one for a day or whatever, we'll see how it goes with money.

I won't post my met list, it's far too long, but I've not met Summer though!

So my next con is in around 2 weeks, I'm thinking it's finally time I had a photo with Mark Shepherd, I've met him several times over the years but never had a photo op with him, so thinking I might get a double op with him and Misha at the spn con.

So very poor now, but I do love it! I always say I'm not doing anymore, but I go to it and love it so much that I usually end up booking another
