Difference between Search Engine Crawler and Guest

Is it possible somehow - that we can differentiate between a guest who is browsing through your site or a search engine bot is crawling?

Can we show them separately in [ Online now ] - something:
Online now: 6 (members: 2, guests: 3, google bot: 1)

May be my questions sounds silly - but you know curiosity, hunger to learn more and more will help everyone - especially when you have a group of highly talented and intelligent people around you.

That would be quite awesome. I don't remember seeing a plugin doing this yet. Hopefully someone knows.

I did start looking into this and though I got it to work slightly it created a massive overhead (A lot of regex against the useragents) I plan to pick this up again soon!
