Getting a new computer every handful of years is a fantastic thing to do. Stay with the times. Tech changes, and it changes fast. Getting a system that helps you upgrade from an old overheating slow AMD cpu with 4gb of ram on hdd drive with shitty graphics chip. To a newer Intel i5 cpu with better integrated gpu and 8gb of ram and an SSD drive.. worth it.

Sometimes the battery is just old and needs replacing. They last usually 2 to 3 years. and instead of spending $1000 or more on a new system, why not just get a new $200 battery (or whatever it costs for your machine)
