GIMP vs Photoshop

Does anyone has experiences both GIMP and Photoshop? I am thinking about whether to buy photoshop. If gimp is ok, I save some $$$$.

I have both but use GIMP more. I'm not a photog and find the features to be similar for my uses.

Photoshop is clearly the best.
You cannot compare an open-source program with a 1000+ dollar program

You can compare them, and no matter how you weigh it up GIMP is the better value product and is also very powerful... Clearly Photoshop is the better product, however Gimp does have some major good sides and for a free App its outstanding.

Yeah, GIMP is better than Photoshop if you compare the prices.
But yet, photoshop is the best
