I wish AOL messenger was still around

I loved AOL Messenger as a kid and teen. Had so many friends on there. Sadly they got rid of messenger years ago and I wish they never did. I had friends that I've now lost because I can no longer contact them. Some really close friends and some who are no longer with us. I wanted to keep all my past conversations as well to revisit later, but those are long gone now.

Same, I used Trillian or something, that one app that lets you connect all social networks for chats at once. So I had a huge amount of friends to talk to. 9/10 from that list are no longer in my life. They've moved on when all those services closed. So much for 'real friendships', I guess.
