Implementing advertising

As I'm looking to move over a forum to xf I'm quite intrigued to know how others have implemented advertising on their sites.

I've got a number of private advertisers as well as adsense link boxes on the site. Currently I use a mod that will give me easy access to my specified ad locations, number of ad views, clicks and the ability to edit and view all this through the admin panel. Really, I need something similar so i can give my advertisers appropriate information and keep on top of it quickly and easily.

To me this seems a bit of an omission in xf, surely a lot of sites monetize their forums through advertising and having a built in system to do this rather than just through the template system would be logical?

This is the only add-on I know of right now that support XenForo Advertisements.
I don't think it has all the features you know though

Seems a bit of a shame at the moment. Could really do with something quite fully featured. Especially as we have some advertisers who sponsor individual areas of the site and being able to control this is essential.

I'm sure it will be coming though, I'd prefer to have fully developed features and plug ins than buggy horrible ones with no future so I'm not complaining in the slightest.

How does that add-on work with XenPorta? XenPorta has an adsense block but it only works on the portal part of the site.
