The episodes just started here, and I have been able to finally watch through the first episode. I kept falling asleep. Yesterday I finished episodes 2 and 3 in succession. And after a break, and when my food was ready .. I watched 4 and 5. Last night I watc.. 6... yeah.. I think we get it. I like it.
Oh, not like that, I mean, it's not something I strongly recommend. It doesn't stack up to some of the just fantastic shows I've seen in the past. But compared to what's out there right now, it's in the top 5 of 'what is on tv now'.
Watch it if you're into that type of tv, it helps me get through the lonely cold end of winter nights when I can't sleep because I feel terrible.
But I am surprised by the main character, he's much more fun to have in the show than the trailer implied. I found some stuff pretty corny acting wise, or action wise. The super mega make believe they're trying to sell just doesn't work for me. I tend to see through it, maybe it's just my mood. Who knows.
I have watched enough episodes that I want to finish the season. Despite that the story line doesn't feel like we will have a lot of surprises. I am certainly not sucked into the story and hoping to figure out how it develops. Who knows, plot twist surprise in the last few episodes and I am changing my opinion? I dunno.. It doesn't feel like that's going to happen to be honest.
Overall rating, maybe a 6 or 6,5 out of 10.
But for what's on TV right now that I watch, it kinda hits a 7 out of 10.
