Hi, opened a thread here because nobody replied my thread on xf . com

I am moving to XF from vb3.7.0 in few days and i am nervous!

I dont know if my vps's settings are fine or not;
php version: 5.2.6
php max post size: 8MB
php max upload size: 16MB
php memory limit: 32MB
mySQL Version: 5.0.91-community
mySQL Packet Size: 16.00 MB

150-300 members online (within 15 mins), i saw even above 2000 visits and server was very smooth (wiredtree vps rocks!),

I have APC installed.

What should i do? Should i get support from my provider to upgrade php, first?
the settings are fine? php memory limit and mysql packet size?

really need help on this...

Actually let me ask this to learn, what if i change php memory limit to 128mb? What happens?

Do you have a working test installation of XF up and running on your server? Have you run a test import from you current vB?

It's basically what I run here as well, though I have a dedicated box and have upped those values a tiny bit. It should run fine, and import from vb37 should go just fine too.

I find the basic values low, and I always double them, especially when RAM is over 2, and especially when it's over 4.
