Reducing Processed Foods

I want to try to reduce the amount of processed foods I eat. Heavily processed ones anyway, things full of additives and preservatives.

I'm not going to worry about sausages or bread for example. Just increase what I make and decrease on the junk foods and takeaways.

I've got plenty of cookbooks, and loads of recipes saved on Pinterest, so it's time to actually start doing some.

My aim is one new recipe a month, it might be a sweet treat or a main or even just a side dish, as long as I do something different.

Also, I bought a soup maker, so I need to make sure I use that, as well as using the slow cooker more.

It's not going particularly well, however I'm looking into fermented foods, and going to make soup either tomorrow or Monday.

I cleaned my fridge out, which might be an odd method to help reduce processed foods, but I now have a shelf free to put healthy snacks.

Currently some melon and carrots that I've chopped up and put into easy to grab containers.

If I can keep it organised and clean I'm more likely to keep putting the food and veg snacks there. As long as I have a clean knife and chopping board!
