Simply cannot decide on skins

No matter what I do, whatever community software I'm running, be it XenForo or IPB, I simply cannot decide on a skin to run, it's frustrating as hell.

I believe that a good skin coupled with good content is the key to getting an active community, so I want a good skin, I would go custom if I could afford it, but then after a while I would even get bored of that.

(Here's what I mean btw, I have LOTS of skins :P)

I am like this with everything bar skins... To the point I move my livingroom furniture around every 2-3 months... I even take chairs out and move desks in things like that... Constantly... Once I do it I look and think the room looks much better like this and then 2-3 months latter I do it all again...

I can never decide if I should use the laptop or the desktop PC so I change from one to the other just as often...

Its annoying, but I have to say its also refreshing having the change.

You are correct, a good skin and good content do make a community better. Sticking with one good skin for an extended period of time can have it's benefits. But so does having multiple skins. It really just depends on your forum's niche.

Finding or making a skin is as difficult as sticking to one.

I hope you find something that not just you but the majority of your users enjoy browsing with.
