Username Style CSS Help - (html code)

i want to have various user name style for each user group.
i used to use this html code in vb and myBB systems, but in XenForo it doesn't work?!?

HTML:

<span style="color: red;"><strong><em>{username}</em></strong></span>

i was wondering if you'd mind gimme the correct code

or

font-weight: bold;

Safeman, as I was doing an article I came across how you do it now, edit the user group and use your span tags in the mark up box.
