I heard the Internet cry, Club Penguin is gone

Everywhere I looked, I see people talk about Club Penguin being gone. I guess they closed their doors.

I never used it. Never heard of it til my 20 year old apprentice started wailing about it next to me!

My two oldest girls loved it years ago. They moved on long before it closed its doors, but we still have the Wii game! They are currently obsessed with Roblox.

It was essentially an MMO - with loads of little worlds and games and activities and your avatar was a penguin.

I use to play that game all the time from 2nd grade till 8th grade when I got more into Minecraft. I had that membership that my mom would buy during Christmas time for me. I loved that game. They moved into a 3D mobile app but it sucks really, doesn't feel like the classical old game at all. Guess they are more interested in getting new players and not keeping the current ones like most companies.
