Just a little longer, and we will have the urge to better our lives again - at least until January 12th :)

Got any plans for 2018, or considering to approach stuff in your life differently?
Oh boy :) i got a list .. started it this Summer already, and it's scary that it's almost time.

lol I need to change my lifestyle big time.... starting with (3rd time lucky) Slimming World!!! I want to drop to a certain dress size I have in mind. Then I'll feel happier.

My aim is to walk 1000 miles this year, averaging out at just under 3 miles a day. So far hitting 3 miles hasn't always happened but then other days I've gone above it, so I'm still on track.

I think this is seriously impressive myself... when I get the Fitbit I'll find out I do 500 steps a day let alone 3 miles a day lol.

I couldn't do it without the Fitbit, I know know that it takes 12 steps to walk around the kitchen table and I can do 9 and half laps while waiting for the microwave to do my porridge! It is little things like that, that add the steps up.

I wish I had this dedication. I know I do not. A mile a day is currently a realistic tough goal - I am not like other people, but I like this motivation. Who knows.. maybe I can make some changes and aim for a walk a day, regardless of distance.

You know your phone has a Health app and already tracks your steps, right :)

However it only tracks when you have the phone on you, which is why my phone has a number that's 2000 less than my Fitbit does!

The Fitbit wants you to walk 250 steps each hour and can alert you if you haven't done it. So if you set it up to alert you between 9-3 Mon-Fri that's still a minimum of 1500 steps each day.

I've added my running total of miles to my sig so you can bug me if my motivation goes for it!

Should hit the 100 mile mark this week! I love that you get little badges on the Fitbit too, yesterday I got a Lighthouse one for 50 floors in a day, no idea how the count floors but I'm happy with it!

So cool to hear :) I've been walking more, but it's going slow. Backpains and stuff are in the way. Headaches during daytime don't help either. I wish I could do more. But hopefully the more walking and picking better times result in helping strengthening my back and stuff. I still use my phone for everything, works fine.

This year I want to have a big sort out too, get rid of a huge amount of never that I don't need and don't use, it's just taking up space. It's the starting to do it though!

I've made a list in my todo app on my phone. and each time i am idle in a room and spot something i really dont care for, i add it to the list. At a later stage i can decide which of those items i really want to keep and throw out.. (or sell, etc)

I made absolutely zero health resolutions or really any resolutions this year. So then I lost 15 lbs in the last few weeks, I'm eating better (thanks to the diet mrfloris gets to hear about because blood sugar adjusting and I have no filter anymore), and making some movements towards alleviating some social anxiety. Whoo!

Been purging a lot of stuff I thought I needed to hold onto, for memory sake, realizing you know what, it's not a good memory if I have to keep moving it and whinging about it whenever I see it, the memory itself was good, maybe that's where it should stay, in my head, not on a shelf or in a box. SO much donated and thrown out and given away.

I need to do this, I'm terrible for keeping hold of things from trips, that I don't really need but I keep saying oh I'll put it in a scrapbook or something. Never have though

I picked up some of these boxes that look like books. I sort out the most exact moment that I'm trying to save, and that goes in the box. I also try to think of it as saving trouble for whomever has to sort through all my stuff when I'm not around to do it. :P
