Instead of reading the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy I have been listening to it in audiobook form, and enjoyed it quite a bit. Stephen Fry read it to me, lol, which he does so wonderfully.

I finished this one the other day, he's a splendiferous reader, isn't he :D

I have several books on the go, I'm rereading the Harry Potter series, just finishing Goblet of Fire, I'm joined a book club and so this months book is Things Fall Apart but Achebe Chinua, never heard of it before but it's less than 200 pages so won't take me long to read. I'm also rereading the Chronicles of Narnia, I think that one will take a while though.

I've just finished A Darkness Absolute by Kelley Armstrong. I swear that woman can turn her hand to anything. She writes acorss so many genres! A Darkness Absolute is the second book in a crime series, with a slight twist.

I finished Things Fall Apart, which while not my kid of book was very good, except the ending, I thought it was rushed and a bit of a cop out.

Now reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I've not read it or seen the film and generally don't know much about it, but it's a light read, easy one to pick up and put down. Although it's library book so I may want to pick it up more often!

I actually downloaded a book the other day for my kindle, it's Robia Scott (Robia La Morte aka Buffy's Jenny) Counterfit Comforts, not started it yet, but it was on offer on amazon so I thought I would see what it's like.

I'm currently reading Writings from Ancient Egypt - translated by Toby Wilkinson. Basically it's a book stuffed with all the Egyptian myths that have never been printed publically before. I love mythology - but you can usually only find a few of the Egyptian ones while being inundated with thousands of books on Norse, Arthurian and Greek Mythology, so this one was a must buy for me.

A friend of mine wrote me a novel, basically. I know I can poke a lot (@Elizabeth can vouch for that - sorry), but this person. GEESH, I was wondering why my phone was laggy while playing a game. I had over 281 new msgs in just 1 thread in under an hour. A life story for sure. Actually quite interesting. But since it was personal, I won't get into it.

Azza, find "The Triffids" - I swear what a book, I am right in the middle of it at present.
Is that book the same as "The Day of the Triffids" by John Wyndham? I read that book years ago and I would love to read it again. I've just done a quick search online and downloaded a free copy of the book, so I guess that's what I'm reading right now!

I am reading some supernatural romance series that I can't even remember the name of. I saw it advertised on Facebook and it was free with Kindle Unlimited, so I decided to give it a go. It's actually turning out to be pretty decent. It is certainly good enough for some mindless relaxation in the evening before turning out the lights.

Beautiful Bipolar
---
“I was Bipolar. I AM Bipolar.” Danielle Workman, a once blogger turned author, was faced with what she deemed terminal in her ill mind; a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. In this book she details her adventures and her experiences with this mental illness, including the bouts of mania, depression and her current thoughts on living life with it. This is a raw and real collection of truths about Bipolar Disorder, and is a beautiful tell-all novel.
---
It's heavy going but a good read so far. Only a small book so it shouldn't in theory take long to read.
