So, age ratings... (r18 content)

SO apparently different countries have different age ratings for the same tv shows and movies.... what the hell is that all about?

Noticed this today on Netflix on a show that really really should be an 18 but apparently in the Netherlands it's only a 12!!!!!

I'm sorry but BDSM should be adult/18 only in my opinion. What are your thoughts on different ratings for different countries?

but 12+ is certainly kinda wrong.

The American R rating is odd, as it's not a rating, anyone can see it with an adult I think. I always thought it was an 18 rating but it's not.
