Life treats you with all its phase, in our lives tragedies transpire abruptly and never goes speedily. It suck our bright side of thinking and trough you deep dark side of disappointment. Beside this the positivity of your inner brings you out of this and shows you the bright side of life and liquefies soon into the phase of tragedy.

I don't think you ever really get over it, it's just it gets easier to cope with I think. I've witnessed family members die, and so that always runs through my mind once in a blue moon. You kind of learn to move on. Thinking about it brings it all back of course, but moving on takes time, but it helps a ton.

Time is the healer. It sucks but these things do take time to get to the point where thinking about your bad times doesn't always come with a flood of emotions. Some times you can be proud of how far you have healed or you can remember good times with a loved one rather than the loss itself.

Thank you for this post, it's tough to deal with tragedy, and for many it can come in many different forms. Life's a struggle but I think I am over the peak and working towards being alive for "me" again, and being better at dealing with my mental health situation.

Baby steps I guess

Sure is, I just wish it wouldn't take a decade.
