# ℹ️ Privacy Policy (v3.2.2– March 29, 2025)

This is our in-progress privacy policy for our Discord and Minecraft community. We’ve technically had one or a while, but that setup isn’t ideal anymore; Time to start doing better. This is a working draft, but we’re putting it out here to be more transparent.

### ⚖️ We Respect Rules & Policies

We follow the guidelines, EULAs, and terms from the services we use, like Discord, Mojang, and Microsoft. Their privacy policies apply to our use of their platforms and services, and by using them, you’re also under their umbrella. So we strive to play by their rules.

### We Respect You Even More

We care about your experience in the community. That’s why we’ve spent the last few years improving how we handle data. Some examples:
  • We avoid keeping backups of personal data longer than necessary (like your Discord profile info, Minecraft server data, or email correspondence).
  • We’ve reconfigured our systems so that if you connect through rerouted services, your real IP address isn’t forwarded.
  • We support your use of VPNs and proxies. (We don't mind)
  • We've changed how plugins store data: we no longer save or forward your IP unless necessary (e.g., for security reviews or permanent bans), and we mainly rely on UUIDs from Mojang and Discord.

Only the owner group can access IP addresses: general staff cannot request them. And again, most of the time, we don’t care about them unless something serious is going on.

### We Don’t Sell or Share Your Data

We don’t sell, share, trade, or hand over your personal data to third parties (see (1) below). We’re not a big tech company that makes you the product. We care about fun, friendships, and fairness, not about building a user db for profit.

### ️ Security & Bans
-# exception (1)

If you’re a repeat rule-breaker or a bot/spammer, we may temporarily firewall your IP. It’s a protection thing. Depending on severity, we might share your uuid and the ban-reason with other server(s) and their owners for their consideration to place a preventive ban.

### About Personal Info

If you put personal information in your public profile, we (and our tools/plugins) can technically see it. So… maybe don’t? Your name or other details might appear, but we’re not collecting that info into some mega-profile or selling it. Still, keep your privacy in mind when sharing publicly.

Both Discord and Mojang let you change usernames, gamertags, etc. Use that flexibility if needed.

### About Kids & Age Restrictions

If you’re under 13, you’re not allowed to join. Sorry. We don’t want to deal with COPPA (US) or GDPR-K (EU) regulations. If you're a parent joining with your child, we consider you responsible for their participation.

If someone self-identifies as being under 13, staff will temporarily restrict access until they’re of age. Once they turn 13, they can appeal and rejoin.

### Community Safety

We take community safety seriously. Stick to the guidelines. Be mindful of who you interact with and what you share. If someone is targeting or harassing you, message the staff privately. We have zero tolerance for that kind of behavior. We won’t turn it into drama, but we will take it seriously and act appropriately. Your safety and privacy matter.

### Final Notes

This post is just a start as we transition from forums to Discord. While nothing here is really new, it hasn’t been officially posted here before.

We may make edits to this privacy policy without formal announcements if they're editorial. But if we make any substantial changes, we will notify the community. Continuing to use our services after such updates means you agree to those changes. If you don’t—no hard feelings, just leave.

Joining and staying in our community means you’ve read, understood, and agreed to our:
  • Rules
  • Guidelines
  • Terms of Service
  • Privacy Policy

...and that you’re not here to cause trouble. If you are, feel free to leave.

November 10th, 2025 - Clarification on content-review

We have always been transparent about the content we are logging and reviewing for moderation. However, it is clear our existing rules currently don't properly communicate this. This post is the only thing that we've changed in this thread of community guidelines / rules. Yes, we have more changes planned for 2026 and are trying to overhaul our rules regarding AFK-grinding, if we move AFK-players around, and other topics, as well as making our rules easier to search and digest. But more about that in 2026, hopefully.

Side note: We have slowly moved to depending on the Mojang UUID for moderation, but we deal with a lot of plugins and services. We stopped caring about your IP address years ago. However, we still do not adequately or fully filter it out. Hopefully, in our 2026 /rules update we also have more clarification on this topic.

Okay, content reviewing to me means the commands, chat, and other content you make and share in our Discord and Minecraft servers. In short: We can read, and are logging the personal and global messages, all commands, and other things if the plugins allow us; books you write in, signs you write on, /msg or /whisper commands, etc. But we don't really care about it. What we do care about is when we quickly glance over your logged content, or rather all content by all players, that rule breaking stuff stands out. Think inviting players to other servers, spreading hate speech, spamming, profanity, etc.

# ️ Moderation & Privacy

At 1MoreBlock.com, we take player safety and a family-friendly atmosphere seriously.
To protect our community from hate speech, harassment, scams, grooming, or spam, our staff may review in-game content when there’s reason to believe a rule has been broken.
This includes (but is not limited to) chat messages, /msg, /mail, books, signs, item names, and name tags.

### Transparency & Intent

We want to be clear about how this works:
  • We do not read everything or monitor private conversations continuously. But yes, we can see it in our moderation channels and in-game.
  • We only check content that is reported, flagged, or clearly stands out as breaking the rules. Sometimes we glance over a day of logs to catch spam or hate speech words, among other things. We're not interested in the normal chat between you and other players, unless the other player reports it.
  • We respect player privacy — our goal is not to pry, but to protect.
  • Context matters. We review enough surrounding information to try to understand the situation fairly before taking any particular action.

### ⚖️ Fair Play & Free Speech

By joining our server and playing, you agree to our community guidelines.
“Free speech” does not mean players can use our platform to harm others or spread hateful, inappropriate, or disruptive content.
This is a private community, and moderation is in place to ensure everyone can enjoy the server safely.
