Adding Tabs + Pages

How do I add a tab + have a page without the "pages" bit?

i.e. http://xenfans.com/chat/

That's EzIRC, it's an add on.

How they did it, you'd have to ask SNN, or any mod author, I have a feeling it has something to do with Route prefixes.

Well, all I need is the page itself. When creating new pages, the url defaults to this:
http://****.com/pages/custompage

I would like it to be:
http://****.com/custompage

You can't use page's to do this you would have to build a custom modification to use the route prefix /custompage/ with the content that you want.
