Another Page As Index?

I know if you use XenPorta you can set your index of your site to be /portal. Same goes for WP Proxy you can set it to be /blog. How can you do it with other features built into XF? I would like to set /recent-activity that you view under members as my index page and /forum to be /communities.

Hey Mike Yeah, I've heard this is possible. You can configure it - and there's a plugin for it to help.

Now with 1.0.2 and later you can just set the page you want as your home in the options. To make it load default that would require a plugin as Floris has stated.
