Changing links

Friends i have installed the wordpress bridge and want my "Home" link to point to it. The question is right now it is formatted like this. <a href="{$homeLink}" can i make it <a href=www.mysite.com/blog and have it work that way ?

OK this worked, <a href="/blog/" was easy. I did not break the site.

in href="" you have to add http:// in front of the www. in order to make it work
