Going to the club (but not to party)

I am old, I feel old, I am not a fun person to be around with.

But I like being entertained. And I like comedy and good music.

Going to a club to get a drink is fine, but only if it is accompanied by a fancy looking lady that enjoys some jazz or other music with me. Or maybe if we go see a well known stand up comedian or something.

And since all that sounds kinda boring and I am not 60 yet.. I stay home.

I don't go to clubs. I am that boring.

When I was younger, like in my 20s, I used to LOVE going to clubs to dance. Wasn't much into drinking, still am not. (I think I've maybe had *A* drink this year? Maybe?) Then it just got not as fun. I don't know if it was the music, or what, but it's just not as entertaining.

OMG compared to when I was young I am a boring old fart now. If you had asked me at 20 what I'd be like at my age now, I would have never have guessed. I don't do clubs, I don't do pubs... sigh lol. My days used to consist of maybe 2-4 hours sleep when not drunk or at work! I used to be the party girl, loved dancing and drinking and generally being a bit wild (ish) lol. I started the pubbing scene at the age of 15 and finished when I had Abbs!!!

That's so crazy to me, clubbin' at age 15 My parents wouldn't ever let me do that stuff I think. Then again, I never really bothered to ask I guess.

LOL MY parents didn't know to start with. I use to say I was at friends houses. Wasn't until I rocked up drunk at stupid o'clock in the morning they worked it out. But I was a bit uncontrollable and rebellious.

I'm joining you oldies, I used to do the clubs when I was a teen but then it was the getting back home issue, we didn't want to pay £20+ for a taxi and the last bus was at 11pm!
