Halloween Event!

WHOOoOoOOooooo (a monster howls and bones break..) you enter the game and everything's spooky black. Yes, Halloween Month has officially started.

October 1st: We introduce it, test out all the features.
October 2nd: We customize things and turn a bunch of stuff off.
October 3rd: Beta testers will get early access to help build and try things out.

By the weekend everybody that joins can play and have fun. Be aware, danger is already lurking with custom mobs.

Yes, custom mobs You will spot them; they want your brains, they want your pumpkins, they want your spicy late drinks.

More information will be posted soon, but there's all sorts of fun new stuff to play with. From custom mobs, to special items, new secret worlds, and unsafe mining. I heard there's even ghosts

As Halloween draws in closer more and more mobs will take over the worlds, so wear your armour and weapons, you will need them.

There will be more monsters in a Halloween world and graveyards with loot in them, and there will be special items in the /market, keep an eye out.

We're in the third week of Halloween Month, and Halloween is getting closer.

The bugs have been ironed out the best we can right now, and the features have been made public in the last week, to basically all the ranks and groups. @emmabear has been building some fantastic halloween themed houses and we're a day or so away from opening the Halloween Casino.

There are various builds, from a fancy Mansion to an abandoned Mansion, from a pretty pumpkin patch to an ugly pumpkin (i made that one haha). From a dangerous skeleton house to a camping site / park with awesome trialers and fun things to do.

Explore in this /Halloween world, there's loads to do. From trick or treating doors, to Ghost hunting. There are graves and tombs you can raid to find loot. You can explore the catacombs, and find even more loot.

When you join the game there's a scary welcome, and while you're playing you might get startled by scary sounds and stuff.

There are angry mobs and undead mobs roaming the worlds, some can ride spiders and they're quite angry. Stay safe.

Trick and treat scarecrows can be obtained through various means as well.

Oh by the way there are ghosts to hunt - they appear only in the Halloween world, and are nearby the trick or treat doors. We have about 21 ghosts and doors in the third week, and even more so in the fourth. Check the changelog thread for all the details.

Pfff, way too much to mention. Have fun! Halloween Month is a great way to get extra loot, extra mcMMO exp, extra vanilla exp, extra money, extra /points, and extra prizes.

Early November once Halloween is over and Halloween Month is over, those who played in October and participated are eligible for a halloween participation token. Especially if you changed your skin! Let us know on Discord or in-game or in this thread if you changed your skin. Extra tokens and loot if you changed your skin and went ghost hunting, went trick or treating and played more than other players.

Halloween Skin Competition

1MBNetwork (Roberto) and I (mrfloris) have kept and will be keeping an eye on the players who join(ed) this month. All the way up to the 2nd of November. How do you look? What skin do you have? Does it have a little halloween decoration on it?

After the 2nd of November we will reward a couple of hand picked players with some goodies!

As mentioned before in previous posts, changelogs, and ingame chat, you can poke us on the forums here, on discord, or in-game about your skin change and we will take a look and take note. You're free to change as many times as you want of course.

mcMMO Double Exp will turn on in about 8 minutes and lasts at least 24 hours, I will turn it off on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

Double Exp weekend is part of the Halloween event. Enjoy fighting halloween mobs, and what not.

We even had 15+ players online today, triggering 15 minute sof Triple Exp, very niceeee

Today we are having the last thing we had planned for this month, and no, it's not the Casino (more about that in a second). We are giving away up to three lootboxes this Halloween.

Okay, about the Casino, we run into a delay first, and the last few days we've been trying to also fix an unexpected bug. There's no Casino today, and I am very disappointed about that. But! We will make sure that we can still enjoy it, even if it isn't halloween anymore, by installing it as soon as we can so we can play it in November!
