Hey there spooky players!
Last week we've opened the Halloween Dimension. I hope everybody used this time to get familiar with the town, because it's time for a ghost hunt this weekend.
You can visit this special dimension by typing (in-game):
/halloween
This will put you on an island floating in a lava lake. So be sure to have maybe some fire protection armor. Oh, some great weapons might be helpful as well. There's a lot of spooky monsters out there!
Make your way through the island over the obsidian path to the mainland, from where you will find a small town.
This town has abandoned mansions, a chainsaw massacre house, pumpkin plants and patches, a burned up fossil in another lava lake, nearby an abandoned boat. All sorts of things.
There's a main town road that goes in a circle, with alongside a casino, apartment complexes, a library, and all sorts of cool builds you can explore.
At the end of the town is a road that leads to a spooky hotel on top of a hill. The end of the town.
While you travel, you can visit the casino and test your gambling luck. There are 13 slot machines there. Just right click the item frames to play. Keep an eye out for monsters, as well as how much each game will cost you.
Talking about monsters. They are everywhere! I mean it. We already have Halloween Mobs, and they won't be shy in the Halloween Dimension. Wear something with projectile and blast protection, and maybe bring some friends so you can get your stuff back a lot easier.
Chances of dying? Reasonable. So have fun trick or treating in the Halloween Dimension, well,l I mean, you can't actually trick or treat on the doors this year. But you will find some fun mobs, great friends, and loads of spooky things to fight.
Now, let's get to the big phat loot box at the end of the rainbow.
There have been Ghoul fights and these boss monsters came from this Halloween dimension. There are more ghoul ghosts there than ever before. And everybody who catches all of these (and there are a lot) will get some big box with some phat loot in it.
How to play!
Ghost Hunting!
Okay, while you travel the town in /halloween, keep your eyes open, not just for spooky ghosts, but for ghost heads! They are placed all over the builds. Some will have one, others a couple, and like the hotel and some other builds: more than a handful.
Actually, we have one hundred ghost heads to find!
OOF, but if you catch all 100, you get a big Halloween Goodies Box in your inventory.
To help you out, we will try to post some hints on the forums, OR on Discord in the #events channel, OR in-game. There's some variety to it. Of course, if you play with friends you can share your xyz locations and help each other find all 100 ghosts.
One hundred, yes, a lot. Can you survive the Halloween Dimension this year (2019) and walk away with some exclusive loot?
