Help creating splash page with login

How would I go about creating a splash page with the stock jquery xen login? My community is completely private already but I also want my guest to get redirected to my splash page if they haven't yet login?

my community is in the root sub folder "root/community" splash page would be in root

You'd create an index.php file which submitted the log in form to xenforo (You'd have to look on xenforo.com for details on exactly where to send it)..

I know how to make a index.php but the controller code for the command i dont know . I was thinking of just taking the code from the existing login jquery and have a background img.
