I just found out I haven't finished boardwalk empire. I honestly thought I did. I have to complete it. The show got cancelled or has simply finished. It's so much worth the watching.. how did I remember so incorrectly? Well, I know what I will be watching on the iMac on the balcony this summer.

I think there are five seasons (I will edit the epguides link in a second) and I am somewhere in season 3. I honestly thought I finished 3 and started on 4. And I didn't even know about season 5. THE HECK. I am not even halfway through.

This show has some great characters, from a fun era (fun for the viewer) with great settings and the acting is done so well by familiar faces. The arches of the stories and the per episode (which are LONG episodes by the way) all add up to a long episode ending with me going "OH, I wish I could start another one".

"Political boss Enoch 'Nucky' Thompson runs Atlantic City at the dawn of Prohibition in this drama inspired by Nelson Johnson's non-fiction book 'Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City."

If you like the characters, the way this is shot and those old fashioned mafia like stories, this is the show for you. Give it a chance, and end up like me: sucked into it and wishing for me. The only good thing is, I lost track of it and now have 2,5 seasons to go! WHOO
