Spam is easy to deal with. See the spam post, click spam link. Press the submit button. And XenForo does the rest.
But
There's another step that some admins and moderators sometimes forget: Pattern recognition.
Sometimes if you recognize the same type of signature, you could see if the keywords are different, but the URL is the same. Or if the IP address is in the same range, or even uniquely the same. Perhaps the user signs up with fake+number at yahoo.com and the number changes.
Recognizing the pattern in the spam message helps you not just fight spam, but prevent it.
You might leave it to the mods to handle the spam, but as admin you should spend the 5 minutes going through recent reports and see in the overview if you might recognize a pattern to help prevent future spam. Making your board nicer, cleaner, and you help your mods get more time to post content.
