Spring Clean aka declutter time

I started doing this a few weeks ago, mostly with clothes. So this is to motivate me to actually not only fund stuff to get rid off, but get rid of it.

I was going to try selling things, but honestly, I know I'll end up not getting around to doing that, so I just need to bag up and bin or take to the charity shop.

I'm in the process of sorting wardrobes out for bin and charity shop and vinted to sell.

Took a bag to charity shop this week, slowly making progress.

 

[Joan]

Aim for the weekend is to sort one of the chuck everything in boxes. It was supposed to be shoe storage box but now has all sorts in it

Still haven't sorted out the boxes, so need to do that. I will fill another bag for the charity shop next week.

Went through my cook books, and have a pile to donate to the charity shop now.

I am keeping most of them, getting rid of a third at most!

The cook books are still waiting for me to take them to the charity shop, but I've also gone through and found a few bits for a raffle/tombola draw.

Slowly getting there, not that I can see any difference yet!

I went through two boxes, and bags, and decided what to keep and throw out, so I now have 1 box with a few things, rather than 2 things taking up more space.

2 bags of stuff, including the cook books have gone to the charity shop.

I had a few piggy banks that had to go, they went today .. weird to do, but I did it. So no backsies now.

I need to sort through my clothes again, get rid of at least one bag's worth of stuff

i ordered storage things for blankets and towels and clothes, some for the closet, and some for under the bed.

hopefully this helps me organize a bit, and store things long term that I don't want to get dirty and dusty and only need for a few months a year.

I've just done a huge list of stuff we need to get done in the house to declutter and organise. Sigh, it's gunna take ages but it's got to be done by 25th November.

I have more stuff ready to go to the charity shop. I need to go through my books though and take out the ones I've read and wouldn't read again.
