Two quick questions that I am embarrassed to ask

For the life of me I cant figure out two simple and probably basic things in making a post....:oops:

1> How do I make an embedded link show up as text? An example would be http://www.mappersunited.com show as Mappers United and still be a link.

2> There is so much nifty stuff you can do with images in a post. Some I know how to do but the one that baffles me is the one that changes on your screen to a blackish window with the image in the middle. Sometimes several images are available and you get the little white forward and back arrows on the sides.

for 1, do something like [url="http://www.mappersunited.com/"]Mappers United[/url], and for 2, it's an attachment which when you click an image, it brings up a lightbox (which is what you're asking about)

If you just want text to show, without being parsed as a link, you can use [ plain ]

like: [plain]http://google.com/[/plain]

Ok, Im drawing a blank here. How do you make it work? I see lots of threads about lightbox here and at the XenForo forums but I dont really see how to get it into a post. There is no attachment button that I can see.
