You can go to the circus on the 14th, and walk the rope, do it right and collect circus tokens, which you can exchange in big presents for a max of four different heads. You can of course get as many heads as you can collect that day.

You can find admin shops with banners on the floating islands around the main island. You can swim up , explore !
And you can use elytra or /j to explore the floating balloons, some will have perks you can unlock.
